Apple's new Tahoe (macOS 26) lock-screen pipeline is the only one we can integrate with cleanly

Legacy workarounds caused edge cases and regressions we weren't happy to ship

We'd rather offer a stable, OS-native experience on 26+ than a fragile one everywhere
If you rely on Lock Screen video wallpapers, we strongly recommend updating to macOS 26. For everything else, Wallper remains fully supported on earlier macOS versions.
