Lock Screen with Wallper

Wallper is the first and only app to bring truly native live wallpapers to the Mac Lock Screen. We integrate at the system level and hand playback to Apple’s own Lock Screen pipeline—no overlays, no daemons, no workarounds. It looks and feels built-in: smooth motion, low CPU, and behavior that matches macOS exactly. Setup is quick and fully reversible.

1. Choose your macOS version below. macOS 26+ or earlier macOS.
2. Follow the step-by-step guide. We’ll walk you through permissions and setup.
3. Pick a scene in Wallper. We handle resolution, color, and timing automatically.
4. Done. The Lock Screen is set.

1) Choose a Wallpaper and set it

Pick any scene in Wallper and click Set as Wallpaper.

2) System Settings — Wallpaper

Open System Settings → Wallpaper and locate the Wallper block.
