Can I use a live wallpaper on the lock screen?
You can sync your desktop wallpaper to the lock screen as a static image, since macOS does not allow live playback on the login window.
macOS does not allow arbitrary video content to render on the login window for security reasons. Instead, Wallper can grab a representative frame from your current live wallpaper and set it as the lock‑screen background automatically, so the transition from login to desktop feels seamless.
You can choose which frame to use — the first frame, a custom timecode, or a poster image — from the lock‑screen settings in the Wallper app.
