Can I use these wallpapers as live wallpapers on Mac?
macOS doesn’t support live wallpapers by default. To use video wallpapers, you need an app like Wallper.
macOS ships with a small set of dynamic and Aerial screensavers, but it does not allow arbitrary video files to be used as desktop wallpapers out of the box. To turn an .mp4 video into a live wallpaper you need a third‑party tool.
Wallper renders video frames directly into the macOS desktop window layer, which means your apps, widgets and icons stay fully interactive. Playback automatically pauses when a full‑screen app is active or when your Mac is running on battery, so there is no measurable impact on day‑to‑day use.
